Not at all! Many of the students I work with are struggling readers who do not have a dyslexia diagnosis. Whether your child need to build foundational reading skills, gain confidence, or catch up academically, I provide individualized instruction using evidence-based Structured Literacy practices.

Every child learns differently, but some common signs include:
Difficulty learning letter sounds, slow or inaccurate reading, trouble spelling familiar words, guessing at words instead of sounding them out, avoiding reading, difficulty remembering sight words
A screening or assessment can help identify your child’s strengths and areas of need. During our free consultation, we can discuss whether an assessment would be beneficial.

I primarily work with students in kindergarten through 6th grade, providing individualized reading, writing, and dyslexia intervention tailored to each child's needs.

I use Concepts in Literacy, which is a systemic, sequential, and comprehensive literacy curriculum through Neuhaus that is focused on structured literacy.
Lessons include: Phonology/rapid naming, handwriting, concept introduction, reading & writing practice, spelling, and extended practice

Most sessions take place in my home office in Pearland, designed to provide a quiet and focused learning environment. For students attending partnering schools, I may provide services on campus if the school offers an appropriate meeting space. Depending on availability and scheduling, sessions may also be arranged at a local library in surrounding communities.

Yes. Every intervention plan is individualized based on your child’s assessment results.
Small group instruction may also be available when students have similar instructional needs.
